Maumee Bay Mobile Speech Services supports adults who wish to safely modify their voices to suit their gender presentation. Our gender affirming voice therapy services will help you alter your pitch, intonation, volume, voice quality, and speech rate, as well as nonverbal communication patterns. Ultimately, our goal is to help you achieve a voice that feels congruent with who you are. During voice therapy sessions, you will walk away with: - The ability to easily produce a voice that matches your inner experience without strain or discomfort - Improved confidence and safety from "passing" - Improved use of non-verbal communication skills (e.g., hand gesturing and body language) In the event that behavioral voice therapy does not help you acheive satisfaction with your voice, then we will discuss the process for surgical intervention. Physician referrals will be made as needed to support you in attaining your goals.
